2005
The 2005 summer’s weather looked like the 2003 one. Even if it was not so hot there was no rain neither.
All the tasks during the green period made with the climatic conditions, the grapes very ripe.
Winemaking:
As in 2003 the Control of temperature in stainless steel and concrete fermenting tank are usefull to keep all the benefits of different maceration and the fruity aromas.
Blending:
Cabernet sauvignon : 43%
Cabernet franc : 4%
Merlot : 50%
Petit verdot : 3%
Production : 190 000 bottles.
Tasting comments:
" A great deep colour with purple lights. Bouquet is powerfully with fig and well ripe black fruit smell. Attack is well-rounded with nice tannins which gives volume. This elegant product ends with a long and aromatic final which means it could be cellar. A great vintage! "
